Simple And Useful Mouse Deterrent Techniques Now Available.
Maybe you have found mice running around your house or in your attic? If you have, you have got a number of options. You can attempt to kill the mice by using mouse traps, poisons, or glue boards. Or you can make them leave your home with a mouse deterrent.
There are several mouse deterrent methods on the market. There are types that you just plug in or ones which are all natural. It is up to you to pick which one you would like to use.
One option is an electronic mouse deterrent which needs to be plugged into the wall outlet. It works on 120 volts so just about any electrical outlet will do. These work a couple of different ways. One of the ways is to send out an ultrasonic high frequency which annoys the mouse so much that they leave. The device gives out a frequency ranging from 30 to 60 kHz and never repeats the same one. The mouse can't get used to the frequency and simply will get irritated. The second way makes use of the electrical wiring inside the walls. This way the electromagnetic field of the electrical wiring is vibrated by the device. These vibrations can vary and change constantly so the mouse is not able to get used to them, but get distressed and go away. Typically one device of either type can cover one floor of a house.
You can also find mouse deterrent methods that are all natural. A few all natural oils that are popular for getting rid of mice are peppermint, spearmint, and mint. Use a piece of cotton to absorb the natural oil and toss them into areas where you have seen mice or mice droppings. The fragrance drives them away. Soaked cotton balls need to be replaced each month to keep mice from coming back. There are also prepackaged bags that permit air flow that contain a combination of spearmint and peppermint oil. All you have to do is toss them in the chosen spots like the cotton balls. Once again, replace once a month.
